Together with the Scottish Government and JustRight Scotland, Fife Migrants Forum (FMF) and Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX) have published new guidance for seasonal migrants workers coming to Scotland to work in the soft fruit sector. This guidance is available for two types of migrant workers, those arriving in Scotland on the Seasonal Worker Visa and those who are from the European Economic Area and have the right to free movement. This guidance is translated into the following languages: Bulgarian, Romanian, Ukrainian & Russian.The guidance covers core areas related to work and life in the UK, including: employment terms and conditions, changing employer, pay and overtime, accommodation, health and safety and healthcare including specific measures during the Coronavirus pandemic, it also outlines indicators of human trafficking and provides a range of contacts in case support is needed whilst in Scotland.
