Despite being experts by experience and the ones most affected by policy decisions, workers at risk are rarely involved in developing solutions to labour exploitation.
We believe that working together with workers to generate knowledge and advocate for change will lead to better evidence-based policies and more effective solutions to labour exploitation. We create opportunities for workers to engage in the policy space, from involving them at every stage of the research process, to working with them as trained and paid peer researchers, to collaborating with community-led organisations directly supporting people at-risk.
It’s important to let the ones experiencing the issues voice them
