As UN experts express alarm at the UK Government’s increasing use of unsubstantiated claims and demonising and inflammatory rhetoric against survivors of trafficking and modern slavery and their legal representatives, twenty one anti-slavery organisations have released a statement calling on the Government to end the dangerous rhetoric that delegitimises survivors and their lawyers, to end the roll back of rights, and to recommit to the fight against trafficking and modern slavery to deliver protection, support, and justice to all survivors and focus on prevention.
