FLEX submitted a response to the Joint Committee on Human Rights’ call for evidence on Human Rights at Work. FLEX’s submission responds to questions on the right to privacy and the issue of surveillance at work.

The submission draws on research from FLEX’s report ‘The Gig is Up: Participatory Research with Couriers in the UK App-Based Delivery Sector’ (2021). It highlights issues such as abrupt and unexplained contract terminations, gender-based abuse and a lack of regulatory action in the UK app-based delivery sector.
